Practical Project Management with PMI PMBOK Sixth Edition
Practical Project Management with PMI PMBOK Sixth Edition – It covers all the PMI PMBOK PMP processes focusing on the big picture and practical usage. Based on PMBOK Guide 6.
When we started thinking about creating a Project Management, or PM training course, we did so because we realized that to take maximum advantage of the majority of our courses, it’s necessary to have a decent understanding of PM. We can specifically mention our ITIL, Business Strategy and Digital Strategy courses which cover starting projects as a result of action plans, and therefore, it’s important for students to know how to manage these projects, and not everyone knows how to do this.
On the other hand, once we made the decision to develop a PM training course, we noticed that the majority of existing courses centre upon explaining to the student how to obtain their qualification instead of offering knowledge, practical experiences and the assets necessary for the student to be able to manage real projects in the real world upon completing the course.
Therefore, we offer you a very practical PMBOK® Project Management course. This course does not offer a philosophical explanation about PMBOK®, but instead explains how to effectively manage projects. If you want to learn how to manage complex transformation projects in the real world, guided by consultants who are highly experienced in the management of multi-million dollar projects for Fortune 500 companies, then this course is for you. This is a direct, to-the-point course, focusing upon teaching the key processes necessary to manage projects in a practical way.
Compared to other courses, we do more than just list and describe the processes, inputs and outputs needed to manage a project. Our course gives an extremely practical focus for managing projects, including the techniques required to put a project into action.
The templates we include allow you to speed-up your learning and practice the knowledge learned. We know how to manage a project, from its initial definition to the management of stakeholders, for example. Our course contains pre-designed templates that are easily customizable, to be used on all of your projects.
Learning the PMBOK Project Management standard is a complex task. The PMBOK® Guide has gone from
- 39 processes in the 3rd edition to
- 42 processes in the 4th edition to
- 47 processes in the 5th edition to
- 49 processes now in the 6th edition (the one we use in this course).
Our way of explaining all of these processes will allow you to learn what is really important regarding the PMI standard.
According to the PMI’s Project Management Salary Survey released in July 2017, PMP certified professionals earn a median salary of $111,969 per year in the United States. If you take this course you will be more than ready to discuss the last edition of the PMBOK guide with confidence and prepare for your certification exam.
